Gamelan Naga Mas and the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland present a joint concert to celebrate the work of artist-in-residence Prasadiyanto.

Between March and June of this year Pak Prasad has been working with students and members of Naga Mas to develop a programme of traditional Javanese music from his home city of Solo. For the first time in many years, this concert will bring together both halves of Gamelan Spirit of Hope: the instruments in the pélog tuning, played by Naga Mas, and the sléndro instruments currently housed at the Conservatoire.
