We developed a new programme called ‘Gamelan Games and Gong’ for schools in partnership with Glasgow City Council and Youth Music Initiative. Working with 4 primary schools over 7 weeks, pupils are introduced to traditional Indonesian music, explore rhythmic and melodic games and create their own group compositions.

The project culminates in a performance day by the children and Gamelan Naga Mas.
