SUMMARY:Gamelan Beginners Classes
DESCRIPTION:This six week course will give you a hands-on introduction to playing the gamelan instruments\, learning the basic structures of traditional Indonesian music\, and some more contemporary approaches to gamelan too. This promises to be a great course for beginners or folk wanting to take a bit of a gamelan refresher. The course is open to anyone with or without any previous musical experience\, and will be led by experienced gamelan tutors. \nThe classes start on Tuesday 14th March\, and continue on the following dates: 21st\, 28th March\, 18th\, 25th April and 2nd May. \nThe course is based in our West End Rehearsal Venue\, Campbell House. Course fees (for the six week block)  are £45 for waged participants and £negotiable for unwaged. Places need to be booked in advance.
