Important announcement!

Gamelan Naga Mas weekly core group sessions are now slated to begin in Glasgow on Thursday 23 Feb 2012, 18:30 in a shared space with Theatre Nemo. Address is 128-130 Bridgegate, G1 5HZ. If you want to find out about this wonderful group, it's instruments and music, please come along. Months have passed and the group haven't been able to secure a substantial base of operations to run full programmes YET! (a lot of gear-and much space required). Our space search has been arduous and it's certainly not over but we so desperately need to resume making music in preparation for the all-night Wayang Kulit (shadow puppet play) for Gamelan Sekar Petak's 30th Anniversary International Symposium at York University, 28 April.

So the wait is over . . . . we begin again. Mark the date. Additionally the group will hold a PLAY/AGM session on 16 Feb 18:30, same space, in order to make a little music, gather up loose ends and elect officers to get us moving toward finding a right, proper space to work out of.
